Dreadlocks are as old as time itself and can be worn by anyone willing to take the time and the commitment to growing and developing them.
Dreadlocks are a commitment. They take months or even years to completely mature. They can be unpredictable, and everyone's hair will dread differently.
I typically use Backcombing and Crochet technique for starting locks, with other methods integrated as I see fit.
My main tools are a needle and a hook. I don't use product, save for a little Lock Peppa, perhaps.
No hair is too Skinny or too Straight for Dreadlocks!

In the Beginning.. there were Dreads. Add some Braids, Yarm or other Accents to your Dreads for Volume & Texture!

Hair is sectioned for size and backcombed. I use my needle and hook to start the locking process. This process can take several hours, depending on how much hair you have, and the size we do the dreads. Average time runs about 4-6 hours, but can take more time, or less

Sections are cleaned up and customized techniques are used to tighten the roots and lengths of the locks. Loose hairs are pulled in and weak spots reinforced.

Using extra hair to add length and/or bulk at the time we start your dreads. This is the best option for not just adding length, but also mitigating "shrinkage".
Adding extra hair will also add volume for thinner hair textures.

Synthdreads are a fantastic way to express yourself.. for the Look without the Commitment!
Custom-made to any Length, Size & Color, synthetic dreadlocks can be weaved or wrapped into the hair,
and are easily removable. I have samples in my shop if you would like to add a couple of singles, or lots of colors to pick from during your consultation.
Consultations are required (in-person or email) to determine the Size, Length and COLOR the Dreads will be.
The Dreads only need to be purchased once and are reusable, and only re-installation rates apply thereafter.

I use synthetic hair to add length to shorter dreads, fix broken dreads or even doctor up the unruly ones! Price is per-dread, and will vary based on length added, and the size and density of the existing dreads.
