Stitchez, Brackish, Punky Fresh, Hairspray, Air.. What does it all mean??
I’ve been in the Industry for about 10 years. In that time I’ve worked in a number of places and under a number of different guises. Since my Shop in located in Providence, well just review the ones associated with me since relocating to RI..
I started out at Hairspray Salon, where I worked for a few years. In that time I created my own Website and “Brand”, Punky Fresh. This was my alias for anything that had to do with my Hair business, including, but not limited to, Model Mayhem, Myspace, Tumblr, Etsy, Facebook and more. Although I no longer use it for anything new, it is still the name of my Artist Page on Facebook, and many people still use it to refer to me, my hair and my clothing.
Next, I relocated to Air Salon. In that time I created Punky Fresh & Breakin’ Chains Studio on Facebook. This was just my attempt to give both my Hair and Clothing activities some online presence and SEO. I stayed at Air for about 2 years before embarking in my own journey and creating Brackish Salon.
This was a Project of my very own, a small Studio located in the Hope Artist Village, right across the Providence line into Pawtucket. In this time I also created Stitchez Dreadlock Studio on Facebook, just for everything Dreadlocks.
Nowadays you can still find my ghost under all of the aforementioned, but my current, true self and services can be found at Brackish Salon. Website, Facebook or otherwise. Stitchez Dreadlock Studio is my sister page and just for Dreadlocks, it is still active and located only on Facebook.
And lastly, I have some random blogs, Google+, and most recently, Instagram under Stitch_Ez.. which I use for general Artist stuff that’s not particularly related to just hair or clothing, but my Artistry as a whole and me as an Artist.
So that is the Story of where all these names came from:)
